Feb Ipsy Bag Reviews

February has been an interesting month.
We finally got Snow which was a disaster.
My husband and Logan got in a (No-fault)  Car accident that totaled Kj's new Car which sucks.

We have good insurance so hopefully, he will have a new one soon.

This month was Camden's 15th bday which came and went by to fast.

And like usual I was super sick again. But what's new amiright?
This bag review is so late because of this.  It was bad
(Flu-like Sick)
I have had it with this stupid Disease.  And me being me, I keep waiting to wake up and feel better.  But that is never gonna happen. I am a gluten for punishment.

But this post isn't about that so I am gonna jump on the review.

The bag for the month is super cute it's a blushing pink with Black trim lace, the inside is all black.

The theme for the month is- Unzipped

#IPSYUNZIPPED

The 1st product I received was a Blush

from the brand Bang Beauty  $20.00

in the shade Cheeky
The formula is long-lasting, highly pigmented and cruelty-free. It is a baked formula that is blendable and buildable for the perfect look.
The shade is a Rosy brown color and a bit of gold shimmer.
I really like the way that this looks on my cheeks and would purchase it.

2nd product is a Baked Highlighter

from the brand Estate Dew Me $10.00
in the shade After-Glow
This is a baked formula and the shade color is a Lavender, shimmery purple Highlighter,  which gives major glow.
The formula is easy to build up and blend.
On my fair skin, it looks okay, I say this because I am a more subtle highlight girl just because it accentuates my fine lines and pores. I don't have a whole lot of room in between my eyes and cheeks and I find that no matter where I put this it's a bit much. I love the shade color. The brand is Cruelty-Free, & Paraben Free.

3rd product is a sample size of Dry Shampoo

from the brand EVA NYC $12.00
I have used this product many times and love it.
The formula is weightless and does a great job of absorbing the oils in my hair. The best part is it doesn't leave any harsh white residue behind. I love the way my hair looks all shiny, soft and volumized. You can find this at Ulta.

4th product is a sample size of Spot On Targeted Skin Brightening Serum

from the brand M.A.D. Skincare $42.00
Packed with Emblica (a skin lightening, an antioxidant that stops the breakdown of collagen.
Multi-Vitamin C Complex  and Botanicals to help brighten up dark spots
this is a spot treatment serum used to treat and minimize dark spots, uneven skin tone while giving your skin a glowing burst of radiance to dull, tired skin.
I have been using this but haven't seen a huge difference. I know that skincare takes time. So I will continue to use and let you know how it works. For the hefty price tag of $42.00 it  should do something.

5th product is a sample size of Concealer

from the brand Itcosmetics  $24.00

This is a product that I have been using for quite some time.
I love the brand and the products I have tried so far.I find that with this one a very lil bit goes a long way,  Like you could do both eyes with less than a pea size amount.
It does a great job of covering the dark circles and fine lines without making it look cakey. The shade I use is light.
I will purchase this after I am finished with my full size one.

That is all the products that I recvd.  Some New,  Some Old ! but pretty happy with them all.

The only one is the skin care and I haven't used it enough to tell. The highlighter is a bit much for me but I will continue to use it or give it to Jayedyn. I did give it to her.
Here's a photo of me wearing the products!

Let's jump into Jayedyn's bag now.

1st product is a sample of Fully charged mascara

from the brand PUR $24.00
This is a unique formula it is infused with magnetic polymer matrix's that wrap a positively charged elastic veil around each lash. This will lift, separate and define each lash.
The formula is long-lasting, thickening, strengthening and will lengthen each lash. It's easy to take off and will not strip or pull out lashes while it also conditions.
Its magnet technology is interesting, to say the least.
I have used this before and it's okay I need to pull mine out and use my sample again.

2nd product is a Liquid lipstick

from the brand OfraCosmetics  Sells for $20.00
This is a liquid lip color that is long lasting. It's a creamy formula that stays moisturizing to your lips without drying your poor lips.
This is a shade of berry that anyone could wear even my pale skin.

Ofra has some amazing products I want to get my hands on.

3rd product is a full-size Eyeliner
from the brand Mellow  Sells for $14.00
This is a Liquid felt tip eyeliner that is long lasting on your eyes, it won't transfer to your lid esp. if you have hooded eyes like me. You can make a thick or thin line in one sweep.
Jayedyn really likes this pen and how easy it is to use how fast it dries and how black it is.

4th product is a sample of Signature For Her Eau de Parfum
from the brand, EnglishLaundry   Sells for $90.00 for 3.4 oz.

This is a sweet smelling perfume with notes of Quince, Jasmine and White Chocolate, Jasmine and Musk.

Jayedyn loves this I may have to purchase a full size for her. I think it sells on Amazon or Walmart?

5th product is a Lip Scrub

from the brand NakedCosmetics  Sells for $4.99

This is a lip exfoliator that smells just like Vanilla and Cake Batter so yes it smells delicious.
It is very hydrating to the lips and will keep your pout moisturized and super soft.
Jayedyn does like using this a lot I tried it on my poor lips and it helped a bit but my lips are jacked up already.
Here's  Jayedyn wearing her products

Well that is it for this review of Feb Ipsy bags for $10 a month I am pretty happy I got my money's worth.

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
