*SEPTEMBER FAVORITES*

What products have you been using for the month of September ?
What products do you regret buying?
What are your must haves?
These have got to be my most used products.
I have reached for
(products listed in the order I use them as well linked below )

- Day & Night Time Skincare routine -
I still use my Dermalogica Products. I am happy with my results and how my skin feels.  I simply can't say how happy I am with this brand I have loved everything I tried so far .
*If you want a more in depth review about the products I use you can read about it here
http://bbloggerfightinlupus.blogspot.com/2016/03/my-skin-care-routine.html

-Moisturizer is my Dermalogica- Dynamic skin recovery SPF50. I love that this also has a Broad Spectrum sunscreen in it . It is very firming and moisturizing.

**I always add a bit more SPF because of my Lupus.
The sun hurts me more so I never go a day without this, even if I am just laying in bed Just in case I go outside .

SPF-You can probably guess it would be  from the brand Dermalogica You would be right it's the -
 super sensitive shield with SPF30

but sadly I need to repurchase this and the new
Phyto Replenish Oil. I  just haven't done so yet but
I am very excited to try this new product .
Instead I have been using my -Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream with SPF30 .
I haven't really gone outside a lot so this has been perfect.

-Primer of choice is also from- *Dermalogica- it's the
-skinperfect primer with a broad spectrum SPF30.
I use just a pea size amount to cover my face and this makes my foundation look flawless.
-Foundation of choice is my* L'OREAL True Match Lumi Cushion in the shade- N2 .
Now this is great when I don't have a rash and want just a bit of coverage . I like how it applies with my beauty blender best  I have a hard time with a brush. Sometimes I just use the puff that came with it. You can build this up for a more full coverage if needed but I only do one pass and i am good .
Thank Goodness for healthy skin .
If I have a rash the foundation I choose is my *MILANI conceal & perfect in the shade- 01 creamy vanilla .

This does the work of covering up my rash nicely plus when applied I don't feel like I have a ton of Makeup on . It won't crease under my eyes where it seems to show a bit more bruised looking . This is also one that if you needed to build up you could . I use my beauty blender or buffer brush from Coastal Scents and it applies beautifully.

Powder- I have been setting my under eye and T-Zone with my *Coty Airspun loose face powder in -Translucent extra coverage . I hate the way that this stuff smells. But it does the job so I suffer.
**The key to covering my rash and the bruised look under my eye is the  baking technique. What is this you ask?
Just place the powder under each eye and let it set while  you do  eye makeup. Then brush it off after and it looks beautiful and will not crease.

-Bronzer  I have been using my sample size i got in my Ipsy bag from *Mellow Cosmetics in the shade -bronze .  This is a beautiful shade for my pale skin sometimes this is also used as my blush when i want a easy look.

Another  favorite is my sample size of -3 tone bronzer from *Crown . This is a perfect shade for all over and adds a bit of color to the cheeks .

-Blush favorites  have been all  from my *Makeup Revolution Palette in -Goddess

This is perfect for my fair skin just enough pigment for a beautiful touch of color to my cheeks .

-Highlight  I use is from my *Makeup Revolution Palette
The top shades #2-3 are probably what I use the most they are a peachy shade and a champagne shade but I love all the shades of highlight. They are pigmented and simply gorgeous in my opinion.

When I just want a luminous barely there glow i use my
*Nyx  sample ( from an Ipsy Bag )
it's the- born to glow liquid Illuminator in the shade- Gleam
Just a pea size amount to the back of my hand to warm it up and get just the right amount  I use my stipple brush to apply just on my cheekbones. I don't pull it any further than that I don't want to emphasize any fine lines or crows feet around my eyes and this tends to do that (For Me at least)

- Eyes its been my Palette from Urban Decay & Gwen Stefani.

I wanted this so bad when it first came out but couldn't spend the hefty price tag on it, so when I received a email from UD that it was on sale for $25.00 .You better believe I jumped on it . I have never owned anything from UD but coveted it always, now I know why the price tag is more .

The shadows feel like butter, blend like a dream and last and last until you take them off.
I think I was hooked when I got the eye shadow sample in my Ipsy bag for Fire Ball. Then I got a full size of Midnight Cowboy for my Bday for Being a platinum member at Ulta.

I have loved playing around with this palette. I haven't taken a chance yet to try some deeper looks, but with fall I may just have to adventure more . It's hard because I have Hooded eyes .. But that is not going to stop me. If you have any Ideas please let me know .

**A recent eye shadow palette purchase  that i wanted was finally in stock at my Ulta so i picked it up. It was on one of the 21 Days of Beauty Extravaganza .
I did get the last one so I was pretty pleased. My daughter was embarrassed while I did a very mini Happy Dance. But I didn't care .The sales reps at my Ulta had know idea why I was so happy and who the palette was even collaborated with?
How can you work at Ulta and Not know these things?
I got the* MissFABULOUS palette from You Tuber-Jenny Fox.
https://www.youtube.com/user/MissJenFABULOUS?spfreload=10

**Here are the shades swatches on me, Now mind you I am extremely pale so some will not show up that well on my arm.
I am so excited to play with this some more. These are the shades I would wear normally with My blue eyes.
-Mascara hasn't been a issue for me because I had Lash Extensions done. I have the hardest time applying false lashes to absolutely non existent lashes so I like the look of extensions a lot better .
When i don't feel good or have a horrible rash I can look in the mirror and smile because I have Sebastian Like lashes!

It's been nice to not have to worry about that .

-Eyeliner is my sample size from Marc Jacobs that I got as  my B-day perk from Sephora.
Oh My I love this .

This stuff is beyond amazing ,it doesn't smudge or wear away in the water line or if I tight line my eyes it does not transfer .
This is a Luxury Item I could never convince myself to buy again . Maybe if I was still working and wore it everyday. This is good quality stuff . It better be for $25.00

-Lips have been a few different choices. I haven't really been in a liquid lipstick phase. I have been more on a glossy kick .

-Lippie pencil-  I have been loving is my -OH SNAP By *ColourPop
- Lipstick I have been wearing is my *Urban Decay Alice through the looking glass in the shade  -Alice its a beautiful Sheer Shimmer .
-Lip gloss I use to top Alice is  -*Trust Fund Beauty in the shade -K,Bye  (again from an Ipsy Bag.)
(Sometimes i use my gloss first and apply Alice to the middle of my lips for a bit of a sheer shimmer look.)

That my friends are all my Favorites. Let me know what you think and what your Favorites are in the comments below.
If you have any questions about any of these products listed please ask and I will do my best to answer them.

I will be reviewing the *MissFABULOUS palette and some Hidden Gems from *EssenceMakeup that I love. Plus I just got my *Ipsy Bag so I can play around and let you know what products Jayedyn and I got and what we think of them .
So keep an eye out for those reviews coming soon.

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
