May Ipsy bag review (At least it's posted ) Late

It's the start of summer and this month's Ipsy Bag Showed that for sure.

The bag is a see through water resistant material with Ice cream cones and Popsicle all over , The zipper is a bit tricky to work. *That i would say is my only flaw in the bag .

Theme - Ipsy Summer Friday

Let's dive right in to the products received  in my bag

1st product- was a sample of a charcoal mask

from the brand -Global Beauty

Charcoal is great for getting deep into your pores and removing all the junk and gunk .  I only use these mask when i feel like my face needs a good scrub or if acne shows  it's ugly head ( I have been blessed in this dept)
I have not used this yet so i can't review it sorry.

2nd product is Full size Lipstick

from the brand Mellow in the shade- Posh

This is a creamy matte formula it's moisturizing to the lips and I find it doesn't make them dry after use . It has Vitamin E which is what helps keep things feeling smooth and silky .
The color shade is a pinky nude.

* I was happy to say this product did not dry my lips, was very moisturizing and lasted for a few hours . ***** stars

3rd product is a sample of a Bronzer/Highlighter duo

From the brand -Manna Kadar Cosmetics
It's a velvety powder, highly pigmented for a natural look with a long lasting  formula. *This is such a pretty shade duo and it works beautifully on my  pale skin always great for a quick eye shadow look *****Stars

4th product is a Island Life Eyeshadow
Palette (Ipsy Exclusive)

From the brand -Pacifica
5 highly pigmented shades made from natural minerals and coconut water. They are  crease free, velvety soft and blend great.
*These shades are beautiful they are mostly shimmers though, which for my hooded eyes makes it hard since shimmers are not the greatest for these kind of eyes.
I will continue to use them because they are stunning, and I need my Shimmers . LOL ****Stars

5th product is a full size brush
From the brand -Luxie Beauty
It's from the Luxie Dreamcatcher collection
The Precision Foundation Brush#660
*Now if you have been following me you would know I love this brand. It's a beauty in the shade Periwinkle it works for me with liquids, creams , concealer, powders your highlighters and  bronzer. It's so soft and makes the application easy.*****Stars

That was my bag and the products I received . Overall I am Impressed .   What do you think any that you would like to try?

Now it's time for Jayedybugs Bag
Take it away Girl.....

1st product was a sample of a tinted moisture cream
From the brand -pur~lisse
I have Kinda heard of this product....
*This product is a primer, tinted moisturizer, foundation and SPF 30 all in one.
The product is Creamy, and mineral based,  it is infused with Asian herb extracts that soothes your skin and gives you that healthy glow.
It is perfect for all skin types. ****

2nd product is a Afterglow /highlighter

From the brand - Urban Decay in the shade -Sin
*This is a champagne shade, finely milled, lightweight formula. It's long wearing and you can build it up for the glow to the gods. Like I love to do ..*************

3rd product is a Organic Infused Gel Effect Nail Lacquer

From the brand -Adesse New York
in  the shade -Surfer Girl

*This formula is super opaque,  it leaves your nails shiny, and works  like a gel.
The flat brush dispenses the perfect amount of polish on each nail, so it’s pretty much foolproof.
It's a very pretty pastel bluish shade
This polish is vegan, cruelty free, and  non-toxic.
My mom painted my nails but I don't think we got any pictures ... Sorry *****

4th product is a Luxie Dreamcatcher Precision Foundation Brush#660

From the brand Luxie Beauty
*Which I gave to my mom.  Not a fan of a lot of brushes, I use my really good set and that's all I need. (Not a makeup brush Hoarder )LOL.***

5th product is a Lip Fondant  (Lipstick)
From the brand -Caked Makeup in the shade- Low Key

When it comes to liquid lipsticks , this lightweight, moisturizing, super saturated one takes the cake.
-Get it Caked Beauty ....
Layering is key!
Apply one swipe for that whole “I-just-ate-a-Popsicle” vibe add more layers for a more intense, punched-up pout.
This berry-hued beauty screams Summer Friday like whoa.
Get your sugar fix (kinda)—minus the calories! It smells like sweet, sweet cake batter. I will do my best not to lick it all off....****************

That's all I got, What do you think ? Anything you want or would try? Just  happy that nothing was broken or didn't work this month.

Oh Yeah !!!!
We turned in some of our Ipsy points

Life 2020-2021 Getting back into this.

So as the whole world has struggled with the pandemic it's an understatement as to how I have been, my kids and, my husband. I am not going to lie and say that it didn't affect me in an immense way  I went down a severe hole into depression and, let's just say my mental health was a nightmare  I wanted to die and, just didn't have the strength to do it myself so I would lay in bed and, starve myself hoping I wouldn't wake up the next time. The real struggle came at night because of my insomnia I would lay in my bed and, think about all the things I couldn't do or wanted but, I just didn't have the strength to, I would think about how much better my husband would have been marrying someone else how I have ruined his life how mean I was to him and didn't even think or want to be. How he is carrying on with his life and me, I'm just better off dead because that is exactly how I feel like a person suffering from all this crap.  My kids don't seem t...

Octobers ipsy treats and no tricks review

Here is my review on the bag for the month of October  *the bag is an adorable red clutch with an embossed masquerade mask.  The theme for the month is  "Who said nights were for sleep" #ipsyafterdark  We hope this bag inspires endless after-dark adventures.                                Stay wild, moon child.  I have decided to start with Jayedyn's first this time.  1 st product is intensively precise eyeliner  from the brand Aurora the shade is a rich brown shade. This is a felt tip liquid liner you can glide this on to make the perfect cat eye.   Removes easily without tugging on those precious lids.    2 nd product is a sample of the highly coveted shape tape contour concealer. This is a full coverage product it brightens under eyes. It’s a m...

But you Don't look sick!!!!!

Chronic Illness can play a tricky part in life. One day you are feeling like you can conquer getting out of bed and moving to the couch and the next you can’t even move to go to the bathroom.  The stereotype behind them is also very hurtful and frustrating to say the least . The saying I hear a lot is. “What  you have Lupus, But you look great and not sick at all. “ Your makeup is on and your hair is done You look Normal! This drives me crazy,  I was talking with a friend who suffers as well  we were discussing this disease and how it would affect the world if you could see the insides of our bodies on the outside.  Would anyone look at us?  Or would they be able to look away once they did?  If the pain we felt was colored so that you could see it.  How would we look to the outside world? Would they say that we looked Normal Then?  How the world treats Invisible Illnesses has got to stop. It’s hard enough to deal ...
