June Ipsy Bag Review

Summer is officially here and boy is it warming up in Utah .
Hot as He**  (usually in the upper 90's- 100's)
The weather has been the best summer weather at times, but I still can't get out and enjoy it because of my Lupus .
I step out in the sun and after a few minutes (literally) I am sick to my stomach and fatigue sets in. Then it's back in bed and I am unable to do anything more for the day. It Sucks!
I am trying to get out as much as I can in the evening but sometimes it is still too hot.

Camden & Mayson have been enjoying the pool. While Jayedyn and Logan are home bodies.  I don't blame them our house has A/C It's way too hot outside.

Any Who that's not what this blog post is about.  It's time for another Ipsy Bag Review. I  am finally caught up and anticipating the July bag.

So let's get into this bag

June's theme
 Volume Up

The bag is pretty cute it's a fabric bag with Lips on it I love the polka dots.

Let's get into my bag 1st

1st product was a full-size Nail Polish

from the brand -Kokie Cosmetics  in the shade- Atlantis At Last

*This is a gorgeous Cobalt Blue it's Chip resistant Opaque shade is great for a long lasting manicure. The applicator is perfect for the 1,2,3 method.

2nd product was a full size lipgloss

from the brand Vasanti  in the shade Super Mom
(How appropriate) a beautiful mauvy hue
This is a very hydrating, moisturizing lip gloss not sticky at all  it has all natural  amazing ingredients
Raspberry, Peach Kernal ,Pomegranate Oil, Jojoba Oil

3rd product was a sample of blush

from the brand The Balm In the shade Balm Springs
This is a gorgeous rosy , long lasting Blush it's not too bright and would look good on all skin types. The packaging is adorable but wouldn't expect anything less from The Balm.

4th product is a sample mud mask

from the brand Hey Honey
This is a detoxifying dead sea black mud mask
This is great for detoxifying , cleansing and multi tasking properties. It is made of black mud from the Dead Sea, honeysuckle , aloe, and Propolis which fights infections, heal wounds and more. *Haven't used this product yet I may give it to my son who has a bit of acne .

5th product is a sample of mascara

from the brand PUR
It is a Magnetic formula (yes it is made out of magnets) This is supposed to coat every single lash to strengthen, thicken, and lengthen your lashes. This formula also conditions and prevents lash loss.
*1st impressions were a huge let down it clumped my lashes it looked horrible. I used it again and it looked a bit better not my favorite it probably would work for someone who has lashes and I do not.

My bag was okay for June my favorites were The balm blush, Kokie nail polish, and the lipgloss.
What did you get? What would you like to try?

Let's jump into Jayedyn's Bag

1st product is a full-size mascara

from the brand Juice Beauty
This mascara is made from all-natural, certified organic ingredients. This made Jayedyn's lashes look feathered out and long. The wand is perfect for coating every lash. It also smudge and flake free. The ingredients that make this mascara what it is Rose Powder and Aloe Leaf Juice.

2nd product is a sample eye shadow

from the brand Luna by Luna cosmetics
In the shade Jace -
This is a soft rose hue perfect for the easy makeup looks. With a buttery soft formula, it makes blending a breeze. It does last on the eyes( with a primer of course .) It's beautiful and vegan cruelty-free.

3rd product is a sample of lip & cheek stain

from the brand Nyx cosmetics
In the shade Cocoa Bean
This is a whipped formula that you can use on lips or your cheeks. The formula is so soft that it feels like you are not wearing anything.  The shade is a nude brown so you can use it for contouring and its the perfect lip shade.

4th product is a sample of moisturizing cream

from the brand Dr.Lili Fan
(She is a biochemist, microbiologist and practicing Ophthalmologist

This is a probiotic formula which is amazing for your skin
It's a recovery, anti aging moisturizer. This product has peptides and vitamin C  which are awesome. These are used in brightening, dull skin and the best collagen stimulation to make you have healthy, younger skin.

5th product is a sample eye liner Aqua XL

from the brand Makeup Forever

In the shade M-10 Matte Black

This is a creamy formula that glides on like butter it has no tugging or dragging on your eyes. With a water proof formula you can't go wrong it does give you the time to smudge it out but when it sets it's there for the long haul. Such an amazing formula.

That is all she got in her bag for the month some amazing products. What do you think? Any you would want to try.

We should have July's bag soon and I can't wait to see what fun stuff we get.  Although you can peak and see on the Ipsy site (Guilty) but it's not the same as trying the products. Right?

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
