November Ipsy Glam Bag

It's another month and a new  glam bag review.
I am so late doing this  as I already got December's bag . I blame the Holiday season !
The theme for the month is RockStarlet !
            (Rock Out like A Knockout)
The Bag itself  was a Makeup star design
It has shapes of lipsticks, brushes, palettes Etc.

-The 1st product is a sample size- Mascara from
*The Balm in the shade of Black Noir

It sells online for $18.00
The brush on the mascara is a curved wand that makes  your lashes look volumized and full of length.
Again I have very sparse, non-existent lashes that are blonde.
The look i got was okay it coated my lashes and made them look black .  This is a product that I would repurchase again .

-2nd product I received was a sample size of  Maracuja Oil- from the brand *Tarte

This sells in stores and Online for $48.00 for a 1.7 fl oz.
Maracuja Oil is rich in essential fatty acids & vitamin C for firmer, brighter, smoother skin it helps in skin recovery , rejuvenation & hydration .
I use mine with my foundation and moisturizer.
It has a non-greasy feel to the skin and brightens your skin.

-3rd product is a set of Full size- Facial masks from the brand *Bonvivant

I don't know how much they sell for I haven't found any prices .
I received 3 sheet masks
**Chamomile & Tea Tree -cools ,tightens pores & moisturizes.
**Sodium Hyaluronates & Lotus -restores tired, dry skin giving a dewy glow.
**Collagen & Olive - vitamin E-boosting elasticity & youthfulness
I only have used one of them so far the Collagen mask .  This mask was messy, It had to much product on it so it just slipped and slided all over my face  which i am not a fan of.
I left it on for 20 minutes the way my face felt after was sticky so I had to pat the rest of the product into my skin  and wipe a lot off .
It did make my face feel tight and it filled in my pores and wrinkles .  It was okay but I have other masks that I like better .

-4th product is a sample size -Liquid Velvet  lipstick from *Ciate London  in the shade Diva

This sells for $19.00 at Sephora or online
http://us.ciatelondon.com/collections/lips/products/liquid-velvet?variant=19257409159 This is a long wearing , highly pigmented matte lip slick in a true red. It does transfer if you don't let it dry to a matte finish . Reds don't look that great on me they dull my skin tone and make me look blah.
This liquid lipstick is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid which is great for conditioning your lips and  makes your lips fuller while feeling supple and smooth.  It is a non -drying formula which i like .
I would probably wear different shades of this lipsticks because the formula is comfortable.

-5th product is a sample size of nail polish from the brand- *Formula X- in the shade Huntress

This was in a holiday special so i don't know if it is still available you can buy this brand at Sephora or Online
They can go for up to $11.00 or if you are lucky you can get them on sale .
This brand has been a hit or miss with me.
This is a emerald green shade with flecks of gold.
This one was a pretty good shade it lasted for a few days but did chip. Not the best polish brand in my opinion I have other ones that I like better .

Not a great bag this time but overall I wouldn't say it was a complete waste of $10 .

Moving on to Jayedyn's bag
Same design as mine

-1st product she got was a sample size mascara from *Too Faced -Better Than Sex
It sells for $23.00
You can find them at Ulta or on the Website here-Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
This is an amazing product it coats your lashes and gives you major length and volume
Not that she needs any .
I have repurchased this a few times already.

-2nd product was a sample size blush from the brand Doucce in the shade Zen Orange

It sells for $14.00 on the website here
Doucce Blush
This is a very orange toned blush she was not a fan of this blush because of that . But as you can see it is perfect for my pale girl  skin tone . Single shades can be purchased and put in a palette they have a magnetic pan .  My thoughts on the blush Super silky, easy to blend and last for a while it isn't super long wearing .

-3rd product is a deluxe size hand lotion from the brand Delectible Cake Beauty

It sells for $12.00 on the  website here-Cake Beauty
She thought that this lotion was nice and it smelled great . Sweet mint & cream it reminds me of a thin mint cookie ...YUMMMM
The lotion wasn't greasy and left her skin soft and moisturized. I really loved how it made my hands feel moisturized and soft .

-4th product was a travel size  stippling brush from the Brand Luxie Beauty in the rose Gold .
It sells for $12.00 on the website here-
Luxie Brushes
This is a soft synthetic brush that is perfect for on the go it's small enough to fit in your bag and works great with powders, creams, and liquids .
I love this brand of brushes they are gorgeous and so incredibly soft .

-5th product was a sample size Contour stick from the brand MODEL Co. in the shade 02

It sells for $9.00 on the website here-modelCo
this is a very soft creamy formula that blends easily.
As far as repurchasing this product I wouldn't because there's a lot of drugstore brands that I like better.

That is it for this Ipsy Bag review I hope that you all have a safe Holiday and enjoy the time with families .

As always Stay Strong and Keep Fighting
                                             Misty

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
