May Ipsy Bag Review (somehow it didn't get posted)???????

**  Somehow I didn't Post this or June's Review to the Blog
I don't know how that happened?

Hey Ya’ll
This is going to be a review of Ipsy Bags for the month of May !

I will start out with mine first

Both our bags were the same Sparkle-covered pouch.
Cute but a Lil rough.

1st product was a Translucent HD Finishing Powder from the Brand BellaPierre

This is a Mica-based powder that is supposed to keep your makeup set to last all day. It is a Matte,shine-free finish.
So you can trust that it won't crease or make you look cakey.
It blends into your skin and looks amazing.
The brand is also Cruelty-free, all-natural, and Vegan.
So Bonus there.

2nd product is a Loose Pigment in the shade Naturally Nude  #02
From the brand Naked Cosmetics

This is a finely milled pigment that blends easily with your finger or a brush.
The pigment is a very rich color that you can build up for more intensity this does not disappoint.
it is a gorgeous golden-sand shimmering metallic that looks beautiful on my blue eyes. I think of desert sand in Egypt when I look at it.

3rd product is a Liquid Lipstick in the shade Mocha
From the brand Ofra Cosmetics

This is a brand that is Cruelty-free and doesn’t disappoint on the shade payoff.
Mocha is a warmish Mauve that is beautiful for any outfit, season or just because you can.
It’s also hypoallergenic so it’s safe for everyone to wear.
Besides this being a highly pigmented lip color it also nourishes, hydrates and protects your lips with Vitamin A so no drying up your pout.
It’s long-wearing, smudge-proof and transfer-proof lippie. So go ahead and kiss your partner, dog, baby, whatever.

4th product is a Waterfall Moisture + Shine Lotion from the brand R+CO

This brand is well known for its hair care and is vegan and cruelty-free.
This is a lightweight lotion that helps fight those annoying frizzies that pop up. It also makes your hair shine with ingredients that are natural. Brazilian babassu Oil and protective Nettle Plus that witch hazel for stubborn frizz. The brand also makes your hair smell like perfume. This has notes of Juniper Berries, blood orange, rhubarb, leather accord, violets, and dark wood. (sweet musky scent) Probably why I love it so much. It smells ahhhmazing.
A little goes a long way.

The 5th product is H20 Skindrink from the brand Pixi By Petra

This is a gel that is supposed to quench the skin, plump and rejuvenate and hydrate your skin.
With ingredients like
* Green Tea, one of those anti-oxidants that strengthen, nourish and overall protects your skin.
*Aloe Vera and *Rosemary extracts soothe and heal.
*Glycerin is the Humectant that keeps the moisture into the skin. It’s the binding ingredient.
This brand is sold at Target so it’s Budget-friendly and it’s all-natural and Cruelty-free
I love how it feels on my skin not heavy or greasy feeling. It keeps the moisture in and my face feels soft. I use my Jade Roller to help penetrate the skin farther. You can use this by itself or under makeup and I find that my makeup looks flawless when I use this first.
That is all the products I received more thoughts in a minute but let's get into Jayedyn’s bag.

1st product is a Coconut Milk Hand Cream from the brand LA CHATELAINE

This is a french based product inspired by the South of France.
This is not a greasy feel to your skin it is a thick formula but melds into your skin keeping it moisturized. It has shea butter, vitamin E and Organic Argan oil all ingredients to keep your skin smooth, soft and healthy.

2nd product is a Bronzer in the shade Tanneries
From the brand The Beauty Crop (another new brand to me )

This is an all-natural plant-based product it has all-natural oils.
It also has Tea Tree oil as well and we know that will nourish and protect your skin.
The warm shade gives the skin that sunkissed glow without even stepping outside.
This product blends like a dream.

3rd product is a Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade FOMO from the brand HOLA NEON (another new brand )

The brand’s mission is all about self-expression and being unique.
This is a Highly pigmented Liquid matte formula The shade is like a berry- magenta its so pretty.
It goes on easily and doesn't dry your lips out as some Liquid lipsticks do.
It dries down to a creamy matte and is long-lasting. I mean my swatch on my hand lasted for 2 days almost. I tried to wash it off with soap and water and it didn't budge so I got out my *Milani - Keep it clean Longwear lip color remover -and bam it was off. This remover does not play.

4th product is a Pore clearing Clay mask with super volcanic clusters from the brand INNISFREE
(another new brand to me )

This is a natural ingredient formula from Jeju Island in Korea
This is supposed to minimize pores, absorb oils while exfoliating, cleansing and evening out the skin. Jayedyn hasn't tried this yet so a review later on.

5th product is a 22E shade and blend brush from the brand F.A.R.A.H

This is a dual-ended brush that you can use to do so many things. it’s not just for eyeshadow I can see me using it for a ton of different ways.

Well, my friends, that is everything in our Ipsy Bags for the month.
What caught your eye? What did you get that you think we would like to try?

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment

As always Stay Strong And Keep Fighting,
XO,Misty

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
