Summer is almost over it's almost Fall.
My kids will be going
back to school soon and Logan heads to college in Arizona.
I'm happy for him, but he isn't going to be around to hug when Lupus is not playing fair.
I have to say I am a proud Mom and my kids are amazing. I love them all and I know he will do great things.
This post isn't about them so let's get back on the subject at hand. This post is about my Summer Must Have's -This is a list of all my favorite Products used in summer.
*Some of this post is for a #contest entry but all opinions are mine, no products were bought to participate. These are what I truly use.
The first thing I think of is a great sunscreen, mosquito repellant, Hat, sunglasses, and Body wash.
I have a great sunscreen My Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF 50 works for me. With Lupus, my skin is very sensitive so sunscreen is a must.
I haven't really ventured out at night too much but when I do this is what I grab.
Body washes are used a bit more in summer, I feel, because of all the pool time, sunscreen, and bug spray we use.
My favorite has been reformulated and I don't like it.
So I have been reaching for The Olay brand of washes. The smells they have are heavenly and leave me feeling moisturized all day.
Currently, my favorite is the Coconut Oasis.
I probably use way too much, but I just can't get enough of that on the beach in Hawaii smell.
For hats and my sunglasses, I like the golf hats from Walmart They are lite weight and let your head breathe.
My Sunglasses are just a black oversized pair that has my prescription within them.
Another Summer must have- would be a great lightweight foundation, maybe not even that, let's go with a BB Cream.
I have been using my Lumene Bright Now Vitamin-C cream in SPF 20 again.
This is just the right amount of coverage I need and it stay's put through all the sweating on those hot days. I love how my skin feels after I wash off my makeup It's a healthy glow and I do see it brightening my dull skin.
For my eye's I have been keeping it pretty easy. The palette I find myself reaching for is the Urban Decay Ultimate Basics
This palette has every shadow I would need for a day look to a night out with my husband and these bad boys last all day until I take them off.
Another one that is easy peasy is the #Morphe The Little Palette by Elana Gant in the shade Coca Mocha
For Bronzer It can switch up from Day to Day but the 2 I find myself reaching for are my Physician Formula Butter Bronzer in light
I find myself also reaching for
My @EssenceMakeup contour and powder In light.
I don't contour that much so this is perfect for a bronze glow on me.
For Mascara, my tried and true is my Essence Lash Princess (False lash effect)
and the Covergirl Clump Crusher in water
resistant.
These are my -Go Twos- nowadays.
That does remind me that I need to pick up my Almay Favorite when I am done with these.
Get up & Grow In waterproof.
For my brows, I use Makeup Revolution Pomade in Blonde
along with my EssenceMakeup Make me brow in 03
I need to pick it up in a softer shade.
My highlighter is again from EssenceMakeup #10 be my highlight.
It gives a subtle glow but you can build it up for a more intense look.
My blush Favorites are The Essence silky touch in the shades #10 adorable
#20 Babydoll.
I also recently picked up my b-day gift from Sephora and have been enjoying the blush Paaarty- from Tarte amazonian clay line.
My lip look is a few different ones. The first one is a nude look using my products from EssenceMakeup
Lip liner in 05 Lovely Frappuccino
Lip 02 Cute Nude
Gloss 19 Nude candy or
Buxom White Russian
For a Matte Liquid Lip, It's the Liquid Catsuits
Yes I own the whole Collection.
The last would be setting spray and I will jump from Urban Decay Chill
and Makeup Revolution Pro Fix.
Skin care is always a must for me and hasn't changed it's still Dermalogica brand products with a few samples of others at times.
Well, that is my Summer Must Have's. What are Yours?
Thank You for taking the time to read.
As always Stay Strong and Keep Fighting
