Ipsy bag Review July

Today's post is on the Ipsy Bag for July.
 Let's dive in.
This bag was pretty cute for the month and starred the one and only #gudetama
Are you asking yourself as well who the heck is that? I was also Until, I asked my kids.
The bag is a center top zipper case. These aren't usually ones I find useful because it takes away the space for stuff. But I guess it's okay.
The Ipsy stylist is #IAMKARENO and the Theme is Over Easy.

Let's get into the products I received.

1st product is a Full-size Lip Balm
 from the brand HEMPZ.
I already own this but it was getting to the point where I need to purchase another so I was super stoked to see this in there.
This is a very moisturizing, hydrating lip balm that keeps your lips nice and soft.

-2nd product is a sample size moisturizer
 from the brand Caudalie Paris.
This is a moisturizing Sorbet it smells nice and goes on the skin easily it also doesn't feel like you are wearing a ton of product. I like how this made my face & neck feel. This is a Luxury Line of products, no doubt it sells for $39.00 for a 40ML.

-3rd product is a sample bronzer
from the brand Tarte in the shade Park Ave Princess

This is a waterproof, Amazonian clay powder.
This is a bit on the orange side for me but using a light hand I can wear it.
It's a softer powder that blends out like a dream. I am not sure if it is waterproof yet, but it definitely can stay put through sweat.

-4th product is a full-size gel Kohl eyeliner pencil
from the brand Ciate.
This is a duo, one side has an eyeliner and the other an angled brush.
This is supposed to make blending and the winged cat eye easier. Since I don't ever do a cat eye I use it to blend. It works pretty well for that, but when applying it over shadows it can be tricky. I have other liners I like better that work over shadows.
(1st is what it looks like 2nd is blended )

-5th product is a full-size Illuminator brush
 from the brand BeauGachis
This is a soft fluffy brush that you can use to apply a highlight or use however you want.
I really like the brushes I get from this brand they are very versatile.

-6th product purchased using points is a sample of mascara

from Lancome.
It is the Definicils High Definition. My first impression was that this really didn't do much for my sparse lashes, maybe coated them a bit.
They made them stand out a bit more, so it gave me length but no volume. I need both.
I am gonna continue to use this because who knows it may get better after wear.

That my friends are all the products in my bag this month.

Let's dive into Jayedyn's
-1st product is a full-size eyebrow pomade from the brand Chella

This is a duo, the product is in the bottom cap and on top is an angled brush.
This is perfect for applying your brows, eyeliner, whatever you like.
When Jayedyn used it the first time she said she applied too much but she loves it now.
2nd product is eyeliner duo pencil from the brand Ciate.

Her product did the same thing mine did. It is hard to use over shadows.

-3rd product is a sample size of cleanser

 from the brand Tarte.
This is part of the Rainforest by the sea collection.
It is a creamy cleanser not too great at taking makeup off but great for a second cleanse or first-morning product.

-4th product is a sample double matte lippie

from the brand winky lux in the shade Angel Food.

This is a liquid lip that dries down matte.

*Jayedyn is not a fan of this shade so she passed it on to me.
*The shade is peachy nude,  That is all the rage this year.
With all liquid lipsticks, I will apply a gloss of some kind.
I like the staying power of liquid lippies but not the dry feeling. I find that this product does last for a bit but will transfer, it has avocado and vanilla oil so it isn't as drying.
I like the formula and the way it looks on my lips so I will continue to use it but wouldn't repurchase,
I have drugstore ones I love. Like the
*Wet and Wild liquid Catsuits are My favorites right now.

-5th product is a sample of Essential Serum
from the brand Modicum
This is a plant-based formula with medicinal and nutritious plants for the skin.
This is great for problematic skin and anti-aging. It will leave your skin healthy looking and glowing.
It will smooth skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis plus helps diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Since this is a new line the time needed to see if it actually works isn't long enough to see any real results but so far it feels soft on the skin, the smell isn't pleasant but manageable.

That was Jayedyn's bag, a lot of great products in our bags this month and Jayedyn really liked her #gudatama bag.

What do you think any products you would want to try?
What products did you get in your bag?

Well, my peeps this is where I end it, thank you for taking the time to read and comment below.

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
