January Ipsy Bag Review

This is another review of the January Glam bag from Ipsy.
What is Ipsy You say? I am glad you asked, this is a beauty subscription service that you customize for $10  a month. You get sample sizes as well as full size products from all kinds of brands.
I have been pretty excited with the products I have recvd for the most part. The bags are fun and useful after .  I have one as well as my daughter and what we get are completely different at times .

Let's get into the reviews and products we received .

The Theme for the month was  Metropolis
We Run This Town

The bag is a pretty blueish /gray color with a mesh  lining that can be seen through the holes with a silver zipper.

These are the products I received and how I felt about them.

-1st product is a min  sample size of -Bronzer from *The Balm
 in the shade Bahama Mama

This is a  matte , tan looking bronzer that is so stunning on my skin tone , This can be used as a contour powder ,brows and an eyeshadow .

-2nd product is a full size Gelology top coat -from *Ciat'e London

This is a gel top coat that makes any mani look like you spent hours in the spa getting professional gel nails.

-3rd product is a sample size of eyeshadow from *Naked Cosmetics

Can we take a minute to stare at the awwwwe of this shade ?

This pigment is gorgeous ,you can wear it as a shadow or even a highlight . It is a champagne shimmer . That would look good on any skin tone .

-4th product is a full size -Lip Balm from *Rimmel london *Kate

from the *Kate collection . It is hydrating and very moisturizing it leaves my lips looking soft and healthy. Best part is NO strong smell.

-5th Product is a Sample size Blush from *MANNAKADAR Beauty

Don't let the shade fool you. It looks super bright I know, but the blendibility of this product is amazing just use a light hand and it's beautiful. 😍

Well that's all for my bag. What do you think?  What products did you like? Wanna try?
For this bag I was super super excited with my products the bag is Meh! But I will reuse it. I hope the next bag I have seen and it's not what I would wish for the month of Feb. Let's hope the products are good.

Anyways, on to Jayedybug's fun stuff.
The bag is the same.

1st product - Full size of Gelology Top Coat

from Ciat'e London
(Same as above)

2nd product Full size tweezers

 from the brand *Vintage
These are a rose gold color, Stainless Steel slanted tweezers perfect for eyebrows. Nothing 2 fancy.

3rd product sample size Bye Bye under eye illumination.
from ItCosmetics
This is great for the under eyes for clearing up those dark circles
(like she has any) oh to have young skin again...
The formula of this is full coverage and can be Cakey looking if you apply to much product.  To apply it works better to pat into the skin with your ring fingers and you can also use a beauty sponge. It gives a subtle glow to the under eye area.
I would know she gave it to me immediately and said "I definitely don't need this." Lil brat..  😂

4th product is a duo of facial masks
from the brand Sally'sBox
She has gotten these before and liked them. These are very moisturizing and make your skin look hydrated and Glowy.

5th product is sample size BB cream
from SmashBox
(she hasn't used this) but it has some good reviews.

This is the end of our review. I swear it took me forever to finish this. It has been some rough weeks with my symptoms from #Lupus. I am laying in bed ready to cut off my legs both hurt so bad I can hardly stand .  Arghhhhhhh
I am definitely ready for the spring, winter is so over .
I hope you enjoyed reading
As always Stay Strong and Keep Fighting...
Xoxo,  Misty

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
