Does It Work? Dry Shampoo Review


Dry Shampoo. 

 Which works? Which is crap? How much should you spend ?
 If you have been wondering the same thing then you have come to the right place. 
I was recently given the chance to test out a dry shampoo from TRESemm'e 
*this was received as a complimentary product from Influenster for me to review . 
Please Know that all opinions are my own and are 1110% Honest . With that out of the way lets start . 


This product deserves ***** stars all the way or more !
This is what I already use on my hair so It will be an easy review . The kind that I get is the Volumizing dry shampoo.  I have Thin, Straight hair  because of medications I take for My Lupus, Raynauds and different factors from the disease.

 I have tried some other brands of dry shampoo and have Either hated the chemical smell or it leaves a white cast on my blonde hair.
"Nothing like looking like I have baby powder in my hair ."

 I have spent a ridiculous amount of cash of some High End products and haven't been thrilled with them .

 I don't need a white or black can , I don't need one that smells like fruit or one I would get from a blow out  . Do I?

 I just can't fathom spending a huge amount of money on a Dry Shampoo.
(My husband thinks the same thing . )
Shampoo and conditioner? yes, he can see that , but a dry shampoo ? No, It was a failing topic for him.

  Could a drugstore brand compare to a high end ?
 I was determined to find out and was crossing my fingers and praying that i would find one . Even before I was sent the same thing from Influenster ..😊
The reason that I wanted to try this one out is because I had such amazing results with the Shampoo & Conditioner from the Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System . I never thought about buying this brand . I would always get High End products. Not anymore .
This dry shampoo  is what I have been looking for. 
Upon 1st spray I was feeling pretty good.No white cast. Even running my fingers through my hair I was shocked, it felt soft . Brushing my hair was easy and i could see  the  volume, 
 it wasn't huge,  but enough for me to see.
 I was thanking the Hair Gods . 
"I know a bit dramatic .. LOL  "  But when all your hair does is pretty much stick flat to your head now you tend to be excited.

More reasons to make me choose this Dry Shampoo.
1-it doesn't make my hair stink. the smell is actually pretty nice.
2-It makes my hair look and feel refreshed in between washes. "which for me can be 3-4 days."
3-It doesn't feel greasy to the touch, I can feel that there is dry shampoo in my hair but it feels soft .
4-Oh! and the volumizing part is true. Instead of flat thin hair it gives me some "UMPH" . 
 I just spray this into my roots in sections ,let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub my hands through it  like i would in the shower . Then it's ready to style If i feel like it . Which now a days, my go too is throw it up in a messy bun. 
I also use this at night just spray the same way and either braid my hair or leave it long and I find when i wake up the next day it's still has some volume . 

 This is volume for my hair it looks clean and fresh .


Just for a heads up - Make sure to shake the can before use to activate it or you will be left with a white cast. I find that the nozzle is great ,Mine hasn't got stuck or won't spray out. I make sure to wipe it off after every use just in case .
I feel confident that this is my new Dry Shampoo. Why spend a ton of money on high end products when this works as well as them or better ? 
I have been brought aboard to the TRESemm'e band wagon ever since i fell in love with the beauty-ful volume line that is all i repurchase . Why would I choose anything else?
Plus Chrissy Teigan uses it. (She is another Utah born Gal )
I could honestly go on and on about the love of the TRESemm'e Products but I am going to stop here .

 Here is my opinion ,
 You don't always need to buy High End Hair Products To get the volume and satisfaction of great looking hair . A drugstore friendly brand works just the same .

 Overall I would repurchase this Product.
Yes- Its a great Dry Shampoo 
Yes- it does refresh and revive my thin, straight hair 
Yes- for me I do not get any visible residue 
Yes - I would definitely recommend this product 
Yes- I would repurchase over and over again.

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? Let's talk showers

  Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings

I found this from April25th 2019 and somehow it never posted so I thought I would just add it here because I know that a lot of you are struggling this way also. You are not alone at all. I am starting to realize that sometimes even the sweetest kind of person can belittle you and hurt you with their words.  I recently had a day where I was told "Try to Keep Up" on the day I was struggling to walk, and in the most pain due to lack of pain medication s. It cut me to my core.  I would like to think that I am a good person and kind to everyone I meet. But recently it's been pointed out that people feel like I make whatever is being talked about and turn it back to ME. I don't feel like the world is about me by far, I try to make everything about other people and leave me out of it all.  I am not the kind of person that I want to have the spotlight on myself, it makes me uncomfortable because I want to do things right.
