TresSEME vox Box review from Influenster

Shampoo and conditioner are all the same. Right? That's what I use to think not anymore.

I was licensed in Master esthetics. I can tell you about skin, hair growth and nails but hair on your head. I have to take my stylists word.

Lately, I have been trying out different brands, and formulas.
I am not at all happy with where my hair is going. I am thankful that I have a full head of hair. But Still

My hair is thinning and sparse. I know that my medications do not help at all and having SLE/Discoid Lupus, Raynauds syndrome, and having to be on a Estrogen supplement doesn't help what so ever.
These are major side Effects.

Now Shampoo/Conditioner sets are great No guess work needed.
There are some I really like and then some that are not even worth it.
I have found another brand that I love ! but always like to switch it up during washes.

I was able to participate in the TRESemme’ Beauty-Full Volume
# ReverseYourRoutine Vox box From #Influenster
*I received this product complimentary to review as always my opinion is Honest, My own, and How I truly feel about the products .

With that out of the way lets get on to my review.

I received the 1st step conditioner and 2nd step shampoo from the TRESemme'Expert selection , Beauty-full volume line.
I was very hesitant about using conditioner 1st and then my shampoo.
What results would this give me?
it just doesn’t seem right but I did it anyway.

First impressions to me.

I felt like I had to use a few more pumps of the product to fully feel like it was doing anything.

I let it soak in while I did other stuff. After rinsing I applied the shampoo and lathered and rinsed away. I wasn’t too thrilled with what my hair looked and felt like after. One word (straw)

It was pretty late I was exhausted after showering which is the normal for people with Lupus.  I just climbed into bed and crashed. I  woke up the next morning with horrible, tangled, straw looking hair .
I thought Nope!
I am done with this stuff.
But because I didn’t take any steps to do anything before I went to bed. I thought I would give it one more chance.

The next wash was the same I let the conditioner sit awhile longer than the first time and did a double wash of shampoo like I normally do, after I rinsed away. My hair looked shiny and healthy
(definitely not straw looking .)
I was pleasantly surprised .
It was easy to brush through no tangles.
I didn’t blow dry it due to summer months where  I just let my hair air dry.
The next morning my hair had some serious volume, felt thick and full and it was so soft.
I just brushed my hair and let it lay straight and I was shocked about how much volume it had.

I couldn’t stop running my fingers through it and looking in the mirror.

The 3rd time  I used my blow dryer and curled it.
*Now I have a hard time keeping any curl in my hair, unless I use a ton of hairspray and then my hair is stiff and yucky feeling so I don't do it that often.

My hair was so touchable, soft it held a curl a lot longer than before which was shocking.

Jayedybug  used  it as well  and she really liked it her hair is long and full and it looked like she had extensions added.

I really really  liked it and will continue using. I am going to try some more products in the line.
hairspray ,mousse and hair maximizer. What magic can they do??

I have two favorite brands of shampoo and conditioner that I can switch between now . If you follow my blog you already know the other brand.

If you are looking for soft manageable hair I would suggest trying this product line out.
Thank you +Influenster for including me in this #Vox Box.
Great products , great results and price !
As always Stay Strong and keep fighting,
                                             Love ya

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

Life 2020-2021 Getting back into this.

So as the whole world has struggled with the pandemic it's an understatement as to how I have been, my kids and, my husband. I am not going to lie and say that it didn't affect me in an immense way  I went down a severe hole into depression and, let's just say my mental health was a nightmare  I wanted to die and, just didn't have the strength to do it myself so I would lay in bed and, starve myself hoping I wouldn't wake up the next time. The real struggle came at night because of my insomnia I would lay in my bed and, think about all the things I couldn't do or wanted but, I just didn't have the strength to, I would think about how much better my husband would have been marrying someone else how I have ruined his life how mean I was to him and didn't even think or want to be. How he is carrying on with his life and me, I'm just better off dead because that is exactly how I feel like a person suffering from all this crap.  My kids don't seem t...
