November Ipsy Review

I hope that everyone had a very Thankful and Blessed Thanksgiving.

Mine was okay, Lonnie made all of the food and we Stuffed ourselves.

We did miss Logan that is why I say it was okay. We did order him a Pizza so he had a special meal that day because he didn't want to be the lonely kid in the College Cafe.
We will be doing another big meal when he comes home for Christmas.

It's a weird winter, by this I mean we haven't gotten hardly any snow I am not sure if we will have a white Christmas?

Anyways  Let's get started with November's review.

The bag for the month was cute Both I and Jayedyn Got the Jeweled two-Tone Yellow & Brown one there was also a blue and Teal One.

Here are a few pics of me wearing the products from my bag.

(This one is a bit scary. LOL was not feeling that Hot)

1st- was a sample of- Morning Calm Cream/Moisturizer.
from the brand- SOROCI $30.00

This is a hydrating cream that is great for sensitive skin. The ingredients help with nourishing and protecting. It's a lightweight formula that absorbs into your skin. Makes your face look healthy and glowy. The smell isn't too bad either it's a lavender herbal mix.
This stuff made my skin soft and my makeup application after flawless.

2nd- was a deluxe sample of- Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush
from the brand Tarte $29.00
In the shade Fiesty

This brand is my absolute Favorite. I love the products I have bought.
The Amazonian clay is great for any skin type, it's hydrating and holds onto your own moisture, it's soft to the touch, easy to blend and long-lasting. I love the eyeshadow palettes so the blushes did not disappoint.
3rd- was a full-size Lip Gloss
from the brand Bang Beauty $18.00

in the shade -Spice

This shade is simply stunning it's a rosy, pinky-nude which I personally love the look on my Pale Girl skin.
The gloss formula isn't sticky so that makes me reach for it more. I hate the kind that just gets caught in your hair, coats, Dogs ears when you kiss her, etc.

4th was a sample of -HD Perfecting Powder
from the brand Manna Kadar $29.00
This is a super- fine, silky smooth mattifying powder that can be used to set my foundation. It's colorless so any skin tone can use it. Plus it will not make you look cakey or feel heavy or have any flashback to your photos. Doesn't emphasize my fine lines or wrinkles.

5th -was a full-size Tapered Highlight Brush B36
from the brand SLMISSGLAM
(Can only be purchased in a set Sells for $325.00 for a set of 25)

This is a tapered shape, beautiful pastel blue handle with 2 jewel accents. The brush itself is fluffy with synthetic bristles and is 100% cruelty-free.
I use mine to apply Highlighter but you can use it for so many different things, bronzing, contour, blush and works great with liquids, powder and cream formula products.

I loved the products rcvd this month all of them are things I reach for them all the time.

Now on to my Baby Girl's bag
(she would kill me If she knew I said that )

1st- was a deluxe sample of White Lavender Body Lotion
from the brand The White Company $20.00 On sale for $16.00

This formula is light and moisturizing and absorbs into the skin so you can add as much as you need. The packaging is so luxe looking it looks like you paid a ton of cash but you didn't.
The smell of this lotion is appealing. With notes of Lavender, Lemon, and Vetiver.

2nd-was a full-size Lip Liner Pencil
from the brand Jonteblu $5.00

in the shade- Natural Beige

This pencil is easy to use it's creamy and will stop your lipsticks from feathering or running away. It's the perfect shade to go with any Lipstick shades.

3rd-was a sample of Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+
from the brand It Cosmetics $38.00

In the shade -Medium
This is such a great coverage it is perfect for even out your complexion helping cover any red spots or discoloration to your skin. This stuff has collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and antioxidants to smooth fine lines and make pores look smaller. I love this stuff but honestly, I don't think Jayedyn needs this with her young skin.

4th- was a deluxe Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush
from the brand Tarte $29.00

in the shade-Idol
which is a gorgeous nude shimmer shade.

5th- was a sample of a Mini Brow Pencil
from the brand Tre'Stique

in the shade-Americano
This is an angled tip pencil making it easy to draw natural looking hair and fill in Sparse areas. This is a medium-brown shade. Perfect for her brows.

That wraps up what we both rcvd for the month of November Plenty of time to wear the products and give an honest review.

Lupus thoughts and Ramblings June 25th

Hey there.  I hope you are staying safe and sane in this crazy world.  It's a lot to stomach for anyone. I can't go crazy.  I already am!        Serious question? When do you tell your family that their joking around has become hurtful?  It's to the point where I feel like I am in high school again, trying to compete for their love and attention. I am 45 yrs old and feel like I am treated like a child at times. I am told that I am too sensitive and that I take things out of context, that I should just take it, and know they are playing.  Every night it's a roast the hell outta mom till she cries or locks herself in the bathroom so no one would see.  it's not like anyone would care to be honest.  I could cry for hours and no one would even flinch.  When did I become invisible, and so small that it doesn't matter if I am even around?  I am ignored when I am trying to be a mother, I am ignored when I try to let people know ho...

Let's talk showers

Let's talk showers  No, not the kind that falls from the sky when it rains. No, not meteors, but regular showers people take to keep clean. A regular person is in the shower up to 5-10 mins maybe 15 at the most. Well for someone with Lupus, MS and Fibromyalgia it's so much longer. For instance, it took me almost an hour to shower the other day. Why is this you ask? Well, I can barely stand on my own, and do things like lift my hands to shampoo my hair without being so exhausted I have to sit down.  So it begins, the clock ticking away. *10 mins gone * sitting down. Once I finally can I stand back up and commence the ritual of the shower  but wait, after *10 more mins* I need to take a breath before I pass out (literally) it takes sitting down and breathing slowly to make it not feel like my heart is going to leap out of my chest.  I look at my handy dandy Fossil smartwatch and it says my BPM is 140 which I believe.  I try to slow down my breathing, a...

ESSENCE MAKEUP REVIEW

Makeup can be high end and really expensive or drugstore and very budget friendly.  Just because a drugstore brand is budget friendly doesn't mean it is bad quality. Right? Recently while perusing my local Ulta store with Jayedyn                      (on the hunt for a blue eye liner )  after looking at all the different brands from Urban Decay, Ulta , Nyx etc. and coming up empty and disappointed we were ready to walk away when i suggested one more look . Tucked away on an end cap of the isle was a small product line. I had never even looked at this brand before but sitting on the shelf was the perfect blue shade of eyeliner that Jayedyn was searching for & on a 15 yr old girls budget too. I started to take a closer look at some of the products . The nail polish is what  drew me in, the colors were so pretty, it also looked like there were a few dupes for some high end products as well. I ended ...
